Harby Moses

Harby Moses

Founder, Senior Partner

Harby formed Coastal Structures Corporation in 1990. He is a Clemson graduate with a degree in Building Science and Management and has almost 40 years of experience in the construction field. Harby is involved in all aspects of contracting, construction, and running a small business. Although he runs the daily operations of the company, he still manages various projects.

Michael Toemmes

Michael Toemmes

President, Partner

Michael began working for Coastal Structures in 2007 as a Superintendent. In March of 2022, He was promoted to president of Coastal Structures which oversees all projects and nearly all medical projects for the corporation. He is responsible for generating estimates and purchasing, expediting, coordinating of subs, and scheduling various sized projects.

Brad Jenkins

Brad Jenkins

Vice President, Partner

Brad joined the Coastal Structures team in 2013. He has over 25 years’ experience in real estate development, planning and permitting. As a Project Manager, he is responsible for business development, feasibility studies/budgeting, scheduling and management of various commercial projects including financial institutions, municipalities and medical office projects. Brad has a BS degree from Clemson University in Financial Management.

Nat Smith

Nat Smith

Estimator

Nat joined Coastal Structures in May 2021, bringing two decades of experience in the construction sector. As an Estimator, he supports Project Managers by conducting quantity takeoffs, labor and material pricing, and preparing bid submissions for a wide range of projects, including medical, industrial, municipal, professional, commercial, faith, and residential. Nat holds a Bachelor's degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, and an Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. He has two daughters and a Labrador named Beau, and resides in Pawleys Island.

Ronnie Watson

Ronnie Watson

Safety Manager

Ronnie has served as Coastal Structures’ Safety Manager since July of 2016. With over 29 years of leadership and human resources management experience gained as a military veteran of the South Carolina National Guard. Ronnie oversees safety compliance, conducts regular site inspections, and ensures a secure working environment for all employees. Outside of work, Ronnie enjoys spending time on the river with his family and is passionate about college football. He holds a BS Degree in Business Management from the University of South Carolina - Coastal Carolina College and is certified as an OSHA 10 & 30 Construction Instructor as well as a Red Cross CPR and First Aid Instructor.

Denise Clemons

Office Manager, Bookkeeper

Denise Clemons joined Coastal Structures Corporation in August 2000 as a Bookkeeper. She earned her BA in General Business at Williamsburg Technical College in 1998.
Denise is happiest when all her numbers reconcile. She loves being a part of the Coastal Structures Corporation family. Outside of the office, you will likely find her in Clemson, SC with her daughter and husband. Most days she can be found wearing orange and/or purple.

Jeff Foxworth

Warehouse Manager

Jeff Foxworth joined Coastal Structures Corporation in May of 2021 as Warehouse Manager. Jeff loves being a part of the Coastal Structures Corporation family (Great People to work with). Outside the office, you will likely find him hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Administrative Assistant

Andi Cannon, a native of Georgetown, joined Coastal Structures Corporation in May of 2024 as an Administrative Assistant. She has developed strong organizational and administrative skills over the years and is eager to further her knowledge while working here at Coastal Structures. While Andi enjoys working hard serving others and is persistent in getting the job done efficiently and proficiently, her most treasured desire is to be the best mom to her two young children. Outside of work, you will most likely find her spending time with her family on the water. Andi is excited to be apart of Coastal Structures Corporation.

Spencer Morgan

Spencer Morgan

Residential Project Manager

Spencer Morgan became part of the team in 2016 following his graduation from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management. Beginning his journey as a labor foreman, he swiftly progressed to the roles of assistant superintendent and then head superintendent. In 2023, Spencer was promoted to Residential Project Manager, assuming various responsibilities including budgeting, subcontractor coordination, overseeing project scheduling, and managing all residential projects. Spencer played a pivotal role in the successful completion of multiple notable projects in the retail, commercial, municipal, and healthcare sectors, such as the 65,000-square-foot medical office building for Tidelands Health. Transitioning into the residential sector in 2021, Spencer’s keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and commitment to quality have led the way for him to successfully complete numerous custom homes and full-scale renovations on time and on budget.

Thomas Rhea

Commercial Project Manager

Thomas started his career with a prominent general contractor in the upstate, gaining diverse experience across various projects during his 8-year tenure. In June 2013, he decided to return to his hometown and joined Coastal Structures as a superintendent. Over the initial 7 years at Coastal, Thomas dedicated his expertise to numerous projects for Tidelands Health and other healthcare providers in the area. In early 2022, Thomas transitioned into the role of assistant project manager, where he focused on helping overseeing several commercial projects. His responsibilities expanded further in August 2023 when he moved into a full-time project manager role. Currently, Thomas is actively engaged in managing multiple commercial projects, bringing his extensive field experience and management skills to Coastal Structures' operations.

Wiley Bell

Wiley Bell

Medical Project Manager

Wiley Bell joined Coastal Structures in 2013. He graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.S. in Business Administration. Starting in the field as a labor foreman and quickly moving up to superintendent, Wiley helped to complete many projects in the medical construction field, including; MRI Projects, PET/CT projects, Cath Lab Suites, X-Ray Projects, and office suites. In 2021 Wiley was promoted to Assistant Project Manager and has completed all types of projects. Some of Wiley’s most recent projects are PET/CT Suite, Cardiac Rehab Suite and Gym, Pharmacy Remodel, NucMed Suite, Hybrid OR, Medical Distribution, Warehouse Remodel and a Pediatric Dentist Office.

Mike White

General Superintendent/Quality Control

Mike is a seasoned professional in the field of construction management with a wealth of experience spanning over 49 years. In 2023, he joined Coastal Structures, where he serves as the General Superintendent and Quality Control Manager. As the General Superintendent, Mike interfaces with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee that construction activities align with the plans, specifications, applicable codes, and schedule. With a comprehensive background in construction management and supervision, Mike brings a depth of knowledge to his role, contributing to the success and efficiency of Coastal Structures' projects.

Lee Messervy

Sr. Project Superintendent

Lee was hired at Coastal Structures in 2008. He is a third generation carpenter with over 30 years of experience in construction that includes residential custom homes, framing, and trim carpentry. His work with us has centered around medical construction projects that includes the renovation of Tidelands in Georgetown and the MOB in Market Common.

Ken Taylor

Sr. Project Superintendent

Ken Taylor’s career in construction began when he attended Midlands Tech in Columbia, South Carolina. There he studied basic drafting, blueprint reading, carpentry, and cabinet making. After graduating, he joined the Peace Corps where he became the Industrial Arts Instructor, teaching carpentry and shop. After returning home, he began work as a commercial carpenter and quickly became a construction supervisor and field manager. He would often manage several projects at once including estimating projects. Since joining Coastal Structures in 2011, he has excelled in the construction field which has led him to become the project manager for several large commercial jobs in the Myrtle Beach area.

Jack Arrington joined Coastal Structures in 2016. He has been working in the construction field since graduating Socastee High School. He began work as a carpenter’s helper, mainly on high-end custom homes. After relocating to San Antonio Texas, Jack began his own business framing and remodeling. This gained him plenty of experience working with many architects and builders. He later returned to South Carolina and landed a job as a commercial superintendent for Harrington construction company which led him to work for Coastal Structures. While working at Coastal Structures, he has completed many different projects, such as Mellow Mushroom , LuLu’s Arcade, Grand Dunes Surgery Center and many upfits for the Borough's and Chaplin crew at Barefoot Landing. He is currently working on his second home for CSC Residential.

Jamey McKnight

Sr. Project Superintendent

Jamey joined Coastal Structures in 2021. He resides in Conway, South Carolina. Jamey has around twenty years of commercial construction experience. He is a third-generation builder who started as a general laborer and worked his way up to superintendent. His summers growing up were spent working for his father at his construction company. His experience ranges anywhere from educational to medical and retail to restaurant construction. When a project is finished, he wants the owner to be proud of it. He strives to satisfy every customer. In his spare time, you will find him spending time with his wife (Lindsay) and his son (Luke).

Hal Elliotts

Hal Elliott

Sr. Project Superintendent

Hal started working for Coastal Structures in 2014. He attended Coastal Carolina University where he studied business administration. Hal has over 30 years of experience in the construction field to include medical buildings, restaurants, banks, metal buildings and civil work. Hal also has experience working hand in hand with the Army Corps of Engineers and the USDA on numerus projects. While Hal is not at work, you will find him spending time with his family and friends. Hal is a proud father of his one daughter and a proud member of Good Hope United Methodist Church.

Jeff Sessions

Sr. Project Superintendent

Jeff Sessions graduated from Clemson University in 1984 with a BS in Building Science and Management. He rejoined the CSC team in 2022 after 23 years of being in business for himself as a licensed general contractor specializing in commercial and industrial construction. He was previously employed with CSC for most of the ‘90’s as a superintendent, estimator, and project manager.

Duanne Pope

Sr. Project Superintendent

Duanne Pope came to work at Coastal Structures in 1992 and has over 45 years of experience in the construction industry. He has an associate's degree in civil engineering from Horry – Georgetown Tech. As a project superintendent, Duanne has worked on several projects, including medical office buildings, banks, paper mill projects, high-rise condominiums, metal buildings, residential homes, and more. He has been responsible for the day-to-day operations of these types of projects.

Ryan Jordan

Medical Project Superintendent

Ryan came to Coastal Structures in 2011 as a concrete form carpenter on the industrial side. He quickly moved up to labor foreman and began managing concrete crews. In 2015 Ryan transitioned into the commercial construction side and started managing crews doing mainly medical related work. In 2017 he was promoted to the roll of superintendent and has completed several medical related projects since that time. Including multi-phased renovations inside active facilities, Chemo mixing rooms, Oncology Infusion Centers, Nuclear Medical Centers, and MRIs to name a few.

Jeff Hadwin

Medical Project Superintendent

Jeff Hadwin, known by many as “Moab,” joined the team in 2014. Coastal Structures brought him on after transitioning from a maintenance position within Tidelands. Jeff has filled a much-needed role due to his extensive knowledge of operating systems within the Tidelands facilities. He excels in communications and rapport with hospital leadership and Tidelands employee-partners and is an integral presence during any scheduled systems interruptions. He most recently received ASSE 6010 and 6020 Med Gas Certifications.

Henderson Green

Project Superintendent

Henderson Green started with Coastal Structures in 2014 as a general laborer, working mainly in Hospital settings. In 2017 he was promoted to foreman and was managing all of the labor forces to include, demolition, daily clean-up, deliveries, concrete patching, and all other items related to the daily activities of a construction site. 2020 found Henderson stepping up to an assistant superintendent roll still in medical construction and overseeing all of the labor forces and subcontractors on smaller projects. 2022 Henderson transitioned from assistant superintendent to superintendent and has completed many multi-phased projects in fully operational medical office buildings. He has also been involved in several medical equipment upgrade projects.

Residential Project Superintendent

Michael joined the Coastal Structures team in 2021, starting in the field as a superintendent. Before Michael joined the Coastal Structures team, he was a state-licensed contractor in Charleston for 26 years with 43 years of construction experience. Michael’s most recent project is a custom home in Kensington Plantation.

Gary Haynes

Gary Haynes

Project Superintendent

Gary has been in the construction industry for 40 years starting in the flooring and carpentry business. He was a home construction superintendent from 2001 to 2011 in Georgia. Gary moved to Pawleys Island in 2012 and have owned his own company doing home remodeling including Flooring, Painting, Electrical, Plumbing and Trim carpentry up until he came to work for Coastal Structures in February 2023.

Chris Russell

Chris Russell

Project Superintendent

Chris Russell joined Coastal Structures in 2023. He attended Purdue University where he studied chemical engineering. He also attended the University of Massachusetts where he studied computer science. During his time there, Chris coached high school baseball and was a part of four state championships. He now resides in Moncks Corner. After moving to Moncks Corner, Chris started his career in construction with Wilscot of Charleston. Since joining Coastal Structures in 2023, Chris has overseen the completion of The Escape Game in Myrtle Beach and a beautiful home overlooking the marsh in Georgetown. He is Currently supervising the construction of a nearly 7000 sq. ft. house in Debordieu. When not at work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Jean and son, Collin. He finds pride in helping coach a local Dixie Boys Team.

Ward Daniels

Project Superintendent

Ward Daniels joined Coastal Structures in 2022. Ward attended Coastal Carolina University and graduated with a BS in Sports Management. He started in the field as a general laborer before being promoted to superintendent on the commercial construction side. He has completed multiple medical-related projects inside of active facilities for Tidelands Health, a Physical Rehab Suite, Pediatric Dentist Office and a project for the City of Georgetown.

Jack Gore

Project Superintendent

Jack joined Coastal Structures in 2021 where he worked as a field laborer. Based on his ability to catch on fast, Jack was given his own projects as an assistant and we watched him rise to the challenges in hospital construction. That year, he completed an X-ray room upfit and a new ultrasound suite. In 2023, he completed a 16,000-square-foot renovation of an existing lumber warehouse, turning it into gorgeous law offices for a local law firm and repeat client. He is currently remodeling 7,000 sf of a 3rd floor hospital wing.

Donnie Myers

Donnie Myers

Project Superintendent

Donnie Myers joined the Coastal Structures team in November of 2024. Before moving to North Myrtle Beach, he was a Superintendent for a concrete company where he led 3 crews for 7 years. He has great experience in being the Lead Superintendent building single family homes. He is eager to extent his knowledge here at Coastal Structures. In his down time, you will find him sitting on the beach relaxing. He also greatly enjoys fishing with his family and friends.

Halstead Morris

Project Superintendent

Halstead Morris was hired in May 2024. He moved to Conway, SC in 2020 from Spartanburg, SC to attend college. He has loved the area since he was a child and would frequently vacation in Pawleys, Debordieu and Murrells Inlet. He graduated from Coastal Carolina University in May of 2024 where he studied B.S Business management, operations and supply chain concentration. Halstead has worked around construction and home repair since he was 16. His most notable work was as a lead laborer in Washington, DC on a high-end renovation in the Kalorama neighborhood. He currently holds a SC specialty contractor's license. He enjoys spending his free time working on his house and also enjoys boating, fishing, and hunting.

Jimmy Clemmons

Jimmy started with Coastal Structures in July of 2024. He’s from Columbia, SC. Jimmy attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2020. He has previously worked in estimating for a water-proofing and restoration contractor. Outside of work he enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf and watching Carolina football.

Riles Jordan

Project Superintendent

Riles joined Coastal Structures in 2024. He attended Clemson University where he studied to receive his B.S in Operations Management. Riles is a proud native of Georgetown. He enjoys providing personalized service and the innovative solutions that are required for the job. He has previous experience working on custom houses in the Georgetown/Pawleys Island area, both new construction and residential. He is excited about furthering his knowledge and experience while working for Coastal Structures.

bo jamison

Bo Jamison

Project Superintendent

Bo joined the Coastal Structures team in 2024. He is an Horry County native with over forty years of experience in the construction industry. He began his apprenticeship in residential construction at the early age of fourteen. He continued his career in residential construction and quickly worked through the ranks and started his own business as well as becoming a licensed residential contractor. Bo has been in the commercial side of construction for the last twenty years. He has done Rural Development projects as well as restaurants, retail spaces, churches, and many more medical new builds as well as renovation and up fits. He is currently overseeing a new Hybrid Operation Room for Tidelands Health at Waccamaw Hospital in Murrells Inlet. Bo enjoys seeing the progress of each job come together and the satisfaction received from building new relationships and satisfying clients. When he’s not at work, he enjoys hunting and fishing as well as all things outdoors.

Keith Sevor

Project Superintendent

Keith started working with Coastal Structures in September of 2022. Prior to working for Coastal Structures, he worked as a Superintendent for two large residential builders for 8 years. Building single family and multifamily homes in the Myrtle Beach area. Since working for Coastal Structures, he has completed several commercial up fits. Which include a butcher shop, the drug treatment center in Myrtle Beach and a renovation of the Social Security office in Georgetown. He has also served as a Combat Engineer for the US Army. He’s a proud father of two teenage sons and is heavily involved with their school sports programs. On his time off, he can be found on a golf course, spending time at the beach or volunteering at his church.
