Smith Medical Clinic is a non-profit organization that provides free healthcare to Georgetown County residents who do not have insurance and cannot afford to pay.

One year ago, Smith Medical Clinic moved into a new building located at 99 Baskervill Drive. With 5,633 square feet, the new clinic has six exam rooms, a pharmacy, a vision center, a group appointment room, a diabetes education lab, a private counseling office and expanded work spaces for volunteers and staff.

In addition to primary care services, the clinic offers on-site specialty care including cardiology, pulmonology, physical therapy, orthopedics, gastroenterology, surgery neurology and optometry.

Helping with professional services to make the construction of this facility possible were architects from the Graham Group, ETS Engineers, and Coastal Structures Corporation.The professionals and subcontractors provided budget figures at a reduced rate for the project.
