Hollywood Wax Museum

Description

Owner/Developer Kuvera Partners selected coastal Structures from Los Angeles, CA, to help reconstruct/renovate the former NASCAR Café in Myrtle Beach. The project consisted of a complete overhaul and gut of the existing interior space, inclusive of the addition of a third-floor mezzanine system utilizing structural steel. The exterior façade was also retrofitted with structural steel to allow for the incorporation of the exterior skin system.

There were many moving parts and players involved in this fast-tracked project. Coastal Structures worked hand-in-hand with the owner-hired third-party specialty vendors to ensure the project stayed on task and schedule. The entire exterior skin system of the building and the special features within the Wax Museum were all owner-hired vendors that Coastal Structures developed a relationship with early and quickly to make for seamless delivery.

Unforeseen conditions and changes were addressed promptly and delivered to the owner in a timely manner to ensure the fast track schedule was met for a successful summer opening.
