Healthcare Construction Company to Upgrade ICU Facilities at Colleton Medical Center
July 27, 2015 – Georgetown-based construction company, Coastal Structures – a leading commercial construction and healthcare construction firm – was selected by Colleton Medical Center to upgrade the healthcare provider’s intensive care unit facilities to accommodate new technological changes.
Designed by the Pawleys Island, S.C.-based team of architects at The Curtis Group, the 3,500 square-foot project is located at 501 Robertson Blvd., in Walterboro, S.C. The healthcare construction project is expected to be complete in November.
The project stems from Colleton Medical Center’s response to the anticipated growth in Colleton County and its surrounding counties. As the healthcare needs in the community grow, the regional providers must improve and change to make way for new technology and innovation.
“Healthcare is constantly changing,” said Harby Moses, owner of Coastal Structures Corp. “We are pleased to help Colleton Medical Center prepare for the area’s growth in healthcare needs, and to work with them to develop a state-of-the-art facility for their patients.”
