GEORGETOWN, S.C., Feb. 7, 2017 – Coastal Structures Corporation has been awarded the contract to construct a new corporate hangar at the Georgetown County Airport. The 12,000 square-foot hangar will be the third building by Coastal Structures on the airport property. In 2008, Coastal Structures completed the 8,500 square-foot terminal building and the Peterson Hangar, a 6,400 square-foot hangar, is currently under construction and nearing completion.
Georgetown County Airport has a two-year waiting list for hangar space and unlike many coastal airports, Georgetown has the adequate space to build on.
“We are excited about our continued partnership with the Georgetown County Airport,” said Harby Moses, owner of Coastal Structures. “Being from Georgetown, it’s rewarding to work on improving and promoting the community and airport facilities that are a catalyst for continued economic development.”
Coastal Structures is a Georgetown-based construction company and one of the leading commercial and industrial construction firms in the region.
