Coastal Structures is proud to celebrate Aviation Week with Georgetown County Airport, and has played a large role in the growth of the airport with the construction of the terminal building as well as two hangars.
Complete in 2008, the Georgetown Airport Terminal is known as the ‘gateway to Georgetown County’. Designed by Mozingo & Wallace Architects of Myrtle Beach, the terminal features two floors with a Lowcountry style. The 8,500 square foot building has a large lobby for the comfort of visitors and passengers, a Pilot’s lounge with full bath, a large meeting room that can host up to 50 people, and three additional classrooms and meeting rooms. Coastal Structures also completed the 6,400 square foot Peterson Hangar in May 2017 and the Corporate Hangar in March 2018.
“We are proud to be a part of the construction and expansion of the Georgetown County Airport over the years, and it’s our pleasure to participate in National Aviation Week event,” said Harby Moses, president of Coastal Structures. “This is going to be a wonderful community event that the whole family will enjoy with inspiring displays, festival activities, and even chances to get in the air! We encourage everyone to come out and celebrate with us.”
