Coastal Structures Begins Construction on South Atlantic Bank’s Mount Pleasant Facility

GEORGETOWN, S.C., September 1, 2016 – Construction is now underway for the new South Atlantic Bank in Mount Pleasant. Georgetown-based construction company, Coastal Structures – a leading industrial and commercial builder– will be building the 8,300 square-foot, two-story building.

Designed by ESD Architecture, the new financial facility will be located at 930 Jonnie Dodds Boulevard in Mount Pleasant, S.C. This marks the second building Coastal Structures has built for South Atlantic Bank, having previously constructed the branch in Pawleys Island.

The $3 million full-service branch will replace the current office facility, located at 1127 Queensborough Boulevard in Mount Pleasant. Headquartered in Myrtle Beach, South Atlantic Bank has facilities in Georgetown, Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island.

“We are excited to work with South Atlantic Bank, and build its new Mount Pleasant location,” said Harby Moses, owner of Coastal Structures Corp. “It is always rewarding to work with a client on multiple projects. South Atlantic Bank is a coastal South Carolina-based company, so it is always great to help a fellow local company expand.”
