Coastal Structures, a leading commercial and industrial construction firm serving the Lowcountry of South Carolina, has started construction of the new $44 million Tidelands Health Medical Park located at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The 65,000-square foot medical park will feature physicians, physical therapy, radiology, pain management, laboratory service offices and more. The project was designed by the Pawleys Island office of Curtis Group Architects and is expected to be complete by late 2018.
Tidelands Health first opened its doors in 1950 and has cared for thousands of patients ever since. As the region’s largest health care provider, integrating the new medical park into the community is a top priority and the design and overall campus earned unanimous support from the Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board.
The building will display an elegant, modern look that is highlighted by a brick and glass exterior and two cupolas, serving as a beautiful addition to the community.
The new healthcare park will be conveniently located at the first major intersection on Farrow Parkway, across from the commercial development that includes the Walmart Neighborhood Market.
“We are excited to begin work on such an expansive project,” said Harby Moses, owner of Coastal Structures Corp. “The new medical park is such a vital addition to the Myrtle Beach community and we are honored to bring this state-of-the-art campus to life.”
