Coastal Structures Awarded Contract for New Georgetown Fire Station

GEORGETOWN, S.C., September 1, 2016 – The City of Georgetown will be getting a new fire department and local construction firm, Coastal Structures, has been awarded the contract. Fire Station #2 will be located in the City’s Maryville South Complex at 2928 South Fraser Street and will replacing the old fire station on South Island Road.


The new station will be a design build project; Coastal Structures will be partnering with Tych and Walker Architects, based out of Litchfield Beach. A start and completion date will be determined in the near future.


“This is a very exciting opportunity for us,” said Harby Moses, owner of Coastal Structures Corp. “Being from Georgetown is special to us and having the privilege to build the new fire station, right here in our own backyard, is something that we can be proud of and the community will greatly benefit from.”
