Coastal Structures Finishes out 2016 Strong with a Big Push in 2017

GEORGETOWN, S.C., Feb. 13, 2017 — Last year was full of accomplishments for

Georgetown-based construction company, Coastal Structures Corporation — leading commercial and industrial construction firm — and the company continues to make big strides going into the new year.

Here’s an inside look at the highlights of Coastal Structures’ projects:

  • The recently completed, now 21,000 sq. ft., Stokes Eye Center, will serve as the new Florence office and will soon reopen for business.
  • Holmestown Road Medial Office building in Garden City, S.C., is a state-of-the-art facility that began construction in November and will be occupied by the Tidelands Health MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program. The Tidelands Health MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program will be a three-year program that provides post-graduate training for doctors who have completed their medical degrees.
  • Shipyard Park in Mt. Pleasant is currently under construction and will be open for the 2017 baseball season. This new park features five baseball fields and a training facility. The park will meet all of the requirements necessary for hosting NCAA baseball tournaments.
  • The most recent project includes the new restaurant property for Croissants Bistro and Bakery. Hook & Barrel Seafood Restaurant, located at the corner of 82nd Avenue and Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, will open this spring. The new 8,000 sq. ft. building will feature these two restaurants, which will be a part of owner Heidi Vukov’s Heidi’s Corner.
